Unit Project #1
background

Using Historical Evidence:
Inside the American Revolution

Unit Project #1 requires students to gather historical evidence about how people from different walks of life and cultures reacted to the American Revolution and the drafting of the Constitution.

There are two steps to complete this assignment.  The first step requires that students read about people who participated in the American Revolution and watch a video about the debate over the Constitution.   The second step requires that students logon to WebCT and discuss specific events during and after the Revolution from the point of view of a typical American.

The Unit Project #1 must be completed outside of the regularly scheduled class hour. It is due on Friday, February 6 (11:59 pm).

The first step can be done any time during Unit 1.  Step two must be completed by Friday, February 6, but you will probably want to begin working on it well before the due date.

The Unit Project #1 is worth 100 pts.
